FAQs

Why 3 Earplugs?

We always include an extra earplug and filter just in case you lose or drop one, then you still have a set.

Does MOTO include various filter reduction levels?

Yes, MOTO includes 3 sets of filters: 17db (Medium), 20dB (High) & 26dB (Max).

What is the difference between MOTO & MOTO PRO?

There are two major differences between MOTO & MOTO PRO:

1. The Earplugs.

MOTO features our original double-coned silicone earplug for a comfortable, natural fit.

MOTO PRO features our patented Contour Earplug™ design engineered to mold to the shape of your ear canal, creating a complete seal for a near-custom fit.

2.  The Filters.

MOTO includes three sets of precision-drilled filters for out-of-the-box flexibility: 17dB & 20dB filters which allow an unobstructed sound into the ear for a noise-reducing yet full-spectrum sound experience - and a 26dB filter for Max protection.

MOTO PRO features multi-layered acoustic filters for a more precise, full spectrum sound. These layers grab the sound signature and then replicate it at a lower volume, so you hear the full spectrum of crisp, clear sound at a safe volume. When selecting PRO you have the option to choose the specific high-fidelity filter reduction level that’s right for you: 24dB Max or 20dB High.

Great protection while riding.

I wear a 3/4 helmet, and the EarPeace earplugs really help with wind noise and exposure. The tabs make it easy to place and remove.

Great Product

I noticed after rides my tinnitus would be amped up some. My brother-in-law wears foam earplugs when we ride, but I didn't want to go that route for a number of reasons. I thought I would try these and I'm happy I did. They perform well, blocking wind noise but I can still hear music out of the bikes stereo and my wife asking me to stop for a potty break! I haven't used them as much as I would like, but I see (hear?) a definitive improvement. They are comfortable and allow enough sound in to not make them a hazard to safe riding.

Using these for 5 years.

I’ve been using these for five years and am really satisfied with their fit and function. Over this period I’ve only had to purchase two pairs. I wear them an average of three times per week installing them and taking them out multiple times. There is one area where they do eventually break and that is the junction between the pull-tab and the body. I have overcome this by loosening the ear plugs before pulling on the tab to remove. This is no effort at all to do and extends their life.
