FESTIVAL PRO Earplugs

Wipe the earplugs off with a damp cloth each time you wear them. If they become particularly dirty you can wash them in warm soapy water, however remove the attenuation filter before submerging the earplug in water. Reinsert the filter only after the earplug has dried completely.

This chart shows how much noise is reduced at each frequency, depending on the filter level you choose.

Frequency is the type or pitch of sound.
• Lower frequencies are deeper sounds like engine rumble, while higher frequencies are sharper sounds like wind noise; the biggest source of fatigue on a motorcycle.

Decibel (dB) reduction tells you how much sound is being lowered.

• Higher numbers mean more reduction.
• Lighter filters reduce some noise for shorter or slower rides, while stronger filters cut more sound for highways or long distances.

You’ll notice higher frequencies are reduced more, which helps eliminate wind noise without blocking important sounds like your engine or surroundings.
