EarPeace Reviews- Kings of Leon- Supersoaker

July 30, 2013

After Kings of Leon released “Use Somebody” in 2009 KOL became a household name which is always going to make die-hard fans bitter. Kings of Leon’s iconic gravelly, untamed sound has debatably become more “mainstream” over their past 2 EPs, creating a rivalry between these “original” fans and the late bloomers.

‘Supersoaker’ seems like a universal pleaser, it had a gravelly sound and Caleb Followill’s raspy voice is back to it’s old tricks but in the same respect, you could imagine this being a huge festival/ stadium track and really reaching out to all publics.

KOL announced the new album “Mechanical Bull”  in early June during the Governors Ball weekend in New York. They debuted the single “Supersoaker” during their set.
