Atoms for Peace, the supergroup featuring the legendary Thom Yorke of Radiohead and Flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers have created a stir this year after stunning critics with their top 10 album AMOK. Beginning this Wednesday the group have held a 3 day residency at London’s iconic Roundhouse ending tonight.
Reviews have stated the band have created an intimate feel with their relaxed style of performance but also created outstanding depth with a “propulsive rush of sound and light.”
Atoms for Peace hold a complex genre within their music, resounding influences of the artists rock and world music with jazz and electronic dance. It’s interesting and exciting to see such largely known musicians make this kind of music, Thom Yorke’s contemporary style never ceases to amaze.
Alongside these events Atoms for Peace have created a “Part-gallery, part-shop and part hang-out space” name the drawing room in the Enterprise located in close vicinity to the Roundhouse featuring exclusive music, merch and art for sale and/or to admire.
Tonight is the last slot in their residency so it’s definitely one to go down and explore!
